PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary tiller which can till in good efficiency. SOLUTION: This rotary tiller comprising tilling tines 17, a main cover 18 covering above the tilling tines 17, and a rear cover 22 whose front end is rotatably axially supported on the rear end of the main cover 18, and connected to a machine frame 1 is characterized by forming the front end portion of the rear cover 22 with a lateral hollow stay 27 whose front end is circularly curved from the upper side to the lower side on the side view and integrally fixing the stay 27 to the front end portion of an inner face plate 23 forming a cover face in the inner face side of the rear cover 22.
