PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weeder which can spray water on crops (soybeans) to retain the moisture of the crops (soybean pods) to prevent the dropping of the beans, on a weeding work before the harvest of the crops (soybeans), can control a water content to improve moisture retainability, and can solve the following problem to improve a crop yield, because conventional weeders each has the problem that weeder tines and a part of the machine frame contact with dry crops (soybeans) befor harvesting to give impacts to the crops (pods covering the soybeans) to drop the beans when weeding, thereby causing large harvest loss. SOLUTION: This weeder is characterized by having a water-spraying means disposed on the travel direction front side of a travel vehicle to spray water on crops, and a weeding means which is disposed on the traveling direction rear side and is moved along rides between right and left crop rows to dig the surface soil of the groove portions and simultaneously weed, and disposing on the water-spraying means a spray rate control means capable of arbitrarily increasing or decreasing its water-spraying rate.
