A steering-wheel unit has a steering-wheel body (10), a support plate (30) accommodated in a hub region of the steering-wheel body and joined rigidly with the steering-wheel body, and a fixture device i.e. a connecting element between the steering wheel body and the support plate, for fixing the support plate on the steering wheel body. The force transmission between the connecting element and support plate (30) follows via a separate deformable equalizing element.
