<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an angular velocity/acceleration detection sensor that can be constructed in small size and that has good sensitivity using a relatively simple arrangement. <P>SOLUTION: The angular velocity/acceleration detection sensor 100 has an oscillation circuit 110, a filter circuit 120, a rectifying circuit 130 for rectifying signals output from the filter circuit 120, and an integrating circuit 140 for integrating signals output from the rectifying circuit 130. The oscillation circuit 110 has a first tuning-fork-type piezoelectric vibrating piece 111. The filter circuit 120 also has a second tuning-fork-type piezoelectric vibrating piece 121. The second tuning-fork-type piezoelectric vibrating piece 121 has the same configuration as the first tuning-fork-type piezoelectric vibrating piece 111 of the oscillation circuit 110, but its vibrating arm extends in the opposite direction to the direction in which the vibrating arm of the first tuning-fork-type piezoelectric 111 of the oscillation circuit 110 extends. At least one of the first and second tuning-fork-type piezoelectric vibrating pieces has the function of detecting angular velocity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
