<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize measurement by reducing loss of ionization signals in a through-type ionization chamber for radiation measurement. <P>SOLUTION: This through-type ionization chamber comprises a metal box 11, two external electrode plates 12 and 12, and a central electrode body 13. The external electrodes are fixed to both the end surfaces of the box by forming a graphite layer on one surface facing the central electrode made of a plastic film, and the central electrode plate is supported in the box, in parallel with the external electrodes by a support pin 111 by forming graphite layers on both surfaces of the plastic film and is connected to a signal terminal. The support pin shields the external electric field, to reduce the loss of signals by inserting a metal polar protection pole between an insulator for gripping the central electrode between it and the box and an insulator fixed to the box. The signal terminal also reduces the signal loss by forming two conductive polar protection pole layers on the outer periphery. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
