PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation detector free from an error caused by a time delay, and a bearing incorporating the rotation detector. SOLUTION: A rotational side member is provided with a magnet 2 having circumferential-directional anisotropy around the rotation center thereof. A magnetic sensor 5 arrayed planarly with a plurality of magnetic sensor elements is arranged in a fixing side member to be opposed to the magnet 2 along an axial direction of the rotation center of the rotation side member. An angle calculation means 6 is provided to detect a rotation angle of the rotation side member, based on a measured value, by measuring a magnetic field intensity of the magnet 2, based on an output from each of magnetic sensor elements in the magnetic sensor 5. The rotation detector is further provided with a delay time correcting means 7 for correcting the delay time until a detection angle is output from the angle calculation means 6 after a magnetic field of the magnet 2 is detected by the magnetic sensor element, and an interpolation means 8 for conducting interpolation in a sampling interval of the magnetic field to compute a change of angle. An output means 9 is also provided to output the rotation angle delay-time-corrected by the delay time correcting means 7 and interpolation-processed by the interpolation means 8.
