PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide flux for cream solder having excellent solderability even in an atmosphere with a high oxygen concentration, e.g., in the air, and also having excellent printing stability and preservation stability, and to provide cream solder. SOLUTION: The flux for cream solder comprises: a flux base; a solvent; a thixotropic agent; an activator; and at least one compound selected from the group consisting of the reactant of acrylic modified rosin with polyhydric alcohol, polyhydric amine or aminoalcohols, a polyamide resin, a polyester amide resin and an acrylic resin.
