PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a braking force control device enhancing ascending responsiveness of target deceleration at BBW control. SOLUTION: In the state that communication between a master cylinder 2 and wheel cylinders 3FR-3RR is shut off, the target deceleration is calculated based on a master cylinder pressure P and a stepping stroke amount S of a brake pedal 1. In the calculation, a temporary target deceleration with a large value of the temporary target deceleration Gp at a master side determined based on the master cylinder pressure and the temporary target deceleration Gs at a stroke side determined based on the stepping stroke amount S is made to the target deceleration Gf.
