PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner for a vehicle, which air conditioner can improve a degree of freedom of a layout of instruments to be installed on a driver's seat side. SOLUTION: The air conditioner for the vehicle comprises a driver's seat blower unit 13 which is connected to a connection port 22a at the upstream side end of the driver's seat blower passage PL of a temperature regulating unit 20 and supplies air to the driver's seat blower passage PL, and a passenger seat blower unit 16 which is connected to a connection port 22b at the upstream side end of the passenger seat blower passage PR of the temperature regulating unit 20 and supplies air to the passenger seat blower passage PR. The temperature regulating unit 20 is arranged at a middle portion in an instrument panel in the direction of the width of the vehicle, and the driver's seat blower unit 13 and the passenger seat blower unit 16 are arranged on the passenger seat side than the temperature regulating unit 20.
