PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder head and its inspection method for easily and accurately inspecting the position of a port. SOLUTION: In the cylinder-head body 37L, a recess 91L opening in an intake port 31L is formed in a valve-guide boss 83L for supporting an intake-valve guide 81L of an intake valve 32L. In the recess 91L, faces 93L, 95L, and 96L to be used for inspection are provided. In inspection of accuracy of the position of the intake port 31L in the cylinder head body 37L, inspection faces 93L, 95L, and 96L are provided in the recess 91L for obtaining a three-dimensional position of the intake port 31L.
