PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cold-forged component which has adequate magnetic properties particularly as a core material for a rotor and has a high yield strength. SOLUTION: This cold-forged component has a controlled composition comprising 0.040 mass% to 0.120 mass% C, 0.5 mass% or less Si, 0.60 mass% to 3.00 mass% Mn, 0.1 mass% or less Al, 0.03 mass% to 0.35 mass% Ti, and 0.05 mass% to 0.8 mass% Mo, and the balance Fe with unavoidable impurities; and has a structure in which fine precipitates with particle sizes of less than 10 nm are dispersed in ferrite, the intensity ratio of a ä100} face to a ä211} face is 0.7 or larger, and the intensity ratio of the ä110} face to the ä211} face is 0.4 or smaller.
