The procedures for heating of metal sheets (6) for hot deformation, comprises inserting work pieces by means of a transport device into a forming tool and heating the work pieces during the transportation procedure by a heating device (7) that acts as the transport device. Stationary heating devices are arranged in toolbox (1) and/or in tool (2, 3) in addition to the transportation-heating device.
