<p>An optical disc reproducing device is provided with a control means (system control LSI (5)) that carries out a track search in accordance with index information, compares the present track forefront position after execution of the track search with a target track forefront position, sets a new target track forefront position by means of a prescribed arithmetic operation in the case that a comparison result is different, carries out a track search again, and starts reproducing from a new present track forefront position in the case that the new present track forefront position after execution of the track search for the second time is consistent with the newly set target track forefront position.</p> |
