<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deterioration of display quality and to reduce own thickness and weight of a device, in a touch panel of an electrostatic capacitive coupling system. <P>SOLUTION: A touch panel display device that detects a touched position by an electrostatic capacitive coupling system and displays an image comprises a first glass substrate 8 and a second glass substrate 4, arranged opposite to each other, a liquid crystal layer 40 interposed in between both glass substrates 8, 4; a plurality of pixel electrodes arranged between the liquid crystal layer 40 and the first glass substrate 8, a first transparent electrode 3 arranged between the liquid crystal layer 40 and the second glass substrate 4 and detecting the touched position; a second transparent electrode 1 provided between the first transparent electrode 3 and the liquid crystal layer 40 and being supplied with a display signal; and a color filter layer 2 interposed in between the second transparent electrode 1 and the first transparent electrode 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
