<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deterioration of quality of a fuel cell in the fuel cell having a separator constituted of a plurality of layered members. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell is provided with a power generation unit including an electrolyte layer and electrode layers arranged at both sides of the electrolyte layer, and separators which are arranged on both sides of the power generation unit and are constituted of a plurality of layered members mutually adhered using an adhesive member. Furthermore, the fuel cell is provided with a seal part having an effective seal part which is arranged at the surrounding of the power generation unit and contacts the laminated face of the separator to suppress circulation of a fluid at the contacting portion. The separator is constructed so that, when viewed from the lamination direction of the fuel cell, at least a part of the contacting portion with the effective seal portion of the separator and the adhesive member may not overlap. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
