<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for a hydrogen-separating device, the technology being capable of reducing hydrogen brittleness. <P>SOLUTION: A flow channel groove 31, as a hydrogen flow channel part for leading hydrogen, is formed at a contact part S1 at which a hydrogen permeable membrane 15 between the porous part 12 and frame part 13 of a supporting plate material 10, which supports the hydrogen transmission membrane 15, contacts the supporting plate material 10. Accordingly, hydrogen, which remains in the contact part S1 when a hydrogen-separating device is started or stopped, is led to the hydrogen flow channel part to reduce the residual hydrogen, and consequently the occurrence of hydrogen brittleness at the contact part S1 is prevented. In stead of the flow channel groove 31, a space, which surrounds the porous part 12, is provided between the porous part 12 and the frame part 13. The hydrogen flow channel for leading residual hydrogen is also formed by bending the peripheral end surface of a hydrogen permeable membrane toward the supporting plate material side and joining the bent part to the inner wall surface of the frame part 13.
