<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To materialize a pulse generating circuit simultaneously generating an ON signal and an OFF signal for test, in the semiconductor device which materializes the drive circuit of a power device preventing the malfunction caused by a dv/dt transient signal. <P>SOLUTION: A first incoming signal is inputted which level-shifts between a first logic value and a second logic value having an exclusive relationship with the first logic value. Furthermore, a second incoming signal or a third incoming signal in addition to the second incoming signal is also inputted. When the first incoming signal level-shifts from the first logic value to the second logic value, a first pulse (ON signal) is outputted. When the first incoming signal level-shifts from the second logic value to the first logic value, a second pulse (OFF signal) is outputted.
