<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the base material film for a rewritable recording medium, which is excellent in color developing properties and decolorizing properties by heat energy, in addition the balance of both of which is well, and in visibility of colored print when employed as the base material of the rewritable recording medium and further in antistatic properties, and a rewritable recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: In the base material film for the rewritable recording medium employed in the rewritable recording medium formed by laminating a rewritable print layer onto one side of the base material film, the base material film for the rewritable recording medium has an antistatic layer comprising an antistat and a binder resin on the surface opposite to one laminated with the rewritable print layer of the plastic film, its light transmittance of ≤15% and its thermal conductance of 0.037-0.080 W/mK and, in addition, the value of the surface resistivity of the antistatic layer (at 25°C and in 65% RH) is ≤1×10<SP>13</SP>Ω/m<SP>2</SP>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
