PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk cartridge equipped with an inexpensive and highly reliable shutter mechanism. SOLUTION: The disk cartridge that has a plurality of trays for housing thin flexible disks in a multilayer shape, and an opening for taking out the trays is provided with upper and lower casings, and a set of shutter members constituted of thin and flexible plates. In the upper and lower casings, sliding grooves for sliding the shutter members are disposed in opposing positions to extend from the opening center peripheral part to the left and right side faces of the upper and lower casings.
