PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electricity accumulation device employing an electric double layer capacitor which can supply a stabilized voltage efficiently to a load by a relatively simple configuration. SOLUTION: When an output voltage from an electric double layer capacitor (EDLC) unit 13 deviates from the allowable input voltage range of a DC-AC inverter 18, an operation stop control circuit 21 controls a switch 20 to supply the output voltage from the EDLC unit 13 to a DC-DC converter 19 and provides the DC output voltage from the DC-DC converter 19 to the DC-AC inverter 18. When the output voltage from the EDLC unit 13 falls within the allowable input voltage range of the DC-AC inverter 18, the operation stop control circuit 21 controls the switch 20 to supply the output voltage from the EDLC unit 13 to the DC-AC inverter 18 and brings the DC-DC converter 19 into a non-operating state.
