PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a function from being hindered by hiding an optical light receiving part or light emitting part arranged on the front of a video camera under a finger. SOLUTION: By providing a projection to warn that the optical light receiving part or light emitting part of the video camera is hidden under the finger, a user is made to recognize that the optical light receiving part or light emitting part is hidden under his (her) finger by touching the projection. By providing a projection separately from the above-mentioned projection at a position distant from the optical light receiving part or light emitting part, a guide part by which the user can grip the video camera with the projection as an aim is formed. The projection that is the guide part is provided at the position distant from the optical light receiving part or light emitting part by a fixed distance, so that the user's finger does not reach the optical light receiving part or light emitting part in such a state that he (she) puts his (her) finger on the projection.
