PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water leakage determination method capable of accurately determining the existence of water leakage even when the water leakage sound is small and background noise exists. SOLUTION: A water leakage determination device 10 for determining whether water leakage occurs in a water pipe includes an acceleration sensor 11 for outputting a measuring signal according to the acceleration varying in response to vibration occurring in the water pipe, and an MPU 18 for analyzing frequency of the measuring signals output from the acceleration sensor 11 in a plurality of different times, determining spectrum corresponding to each time, comparing the spectra of respective times with each other, and determining the existence of the water leakage based on the comparison results.
