<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging lens composed of four groups and four lenses, which is small, capable of higher imaging performance, suitable for a wider angle, and has satisfactory imaging-side telecentric characteristics, and to provide an imaging apparatus that uses the imaging lens. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging lens comprises, sequentially from an object side, a positive lens, a negative lens, a positive lens and a lens having at least one face in an aspherical shape. Thus, by being designed to fulfill prescribed conditions, the imaging lens can be downsized and provided with a higher imaging performance, is suitable for a wider angle, and has good image-side telecentric characteristics. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
