PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emergency lighting system in which an automation and power saving of a battery inspection work is performed to improve a maintenance work. SOLUTION: The emergency lighting system is provided with a power source circuit 13, a charging circuit 14 of a battery 9 and a controlling circuit 15 to control a power supply to a lamp 10, and in the controlling circuit, an inspection sequence 20 composed of a battery automated inspection program is built-in, when a voltage of the battery 9 is detected during an inspection and an abnormality of the battery 9 is detected, the abnormality is displayed in a battery monitor 4 until the battery abnormality is released.
