摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent crosstalk in an active matrix display device having a storage capacitance. SOLUTION: A flat display device includes a plurality of pixels, a plurality of thin film transistors (TFT), a plurality of gate electrodes, a plurality of source electrodes, a plurality of storage capacitance elements, a plurality of first storage capacitance electrodes and a plurality of second storage capacitance electrodes. A first compensation voltage that is applied to each of the first storage capacitance electrodes and a second compensation voltage that is applied to each of the second storage capacitance electrodes have mutually different voltage polarities. Among a plurality of thin film transistors connected to the same gate electrode, a polarity of a video signal voltage which is applied via the source electrode to a source terminal of the thin film transistor that is connected to the first storage capacitance electrode is set to be opposite to a polarity of a video signal voltage applied via the source electrode to a source terminal of the thin film transistor that is connected to the second storage capacitance electrode.
