PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication apparatus which controls a processing cost, selects an optimum frequency channel by communication partner by adding a request of an application to a surrounding radio wave environment, and improves a data transfer efficiency of an entire network. SOLUTION: A channel communication quality evaluator 13 evaluates a communication quality of each frequency channel by using a receiving electric field strength, an error detection frequency, an error correction frequency or a packet re-sending state and the like, every time when a transmission and a receiving are executed; and holds a table of an evaluation result by communication partner, by use packet or by communication content. A channel quality placing processor 14 conducts a placing of the frequency channel on the basis of these evaluation results.
