PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an aggregate of an organic low-molecular weight compound which can be used, for example, as a resist. SOLUTION: The molecular aggregate is prepared by a method comprising a step of preparing a solution of a fluorene-based low-molecular weight compound and an organic low-molecular weight compound organizable with the fluorene-based low-molecular weight compound dissolved in a solvent, a step of stirring the solution and a step of separating, from the solution, solid matter formed by stirring the solution. The fluorene-based low-molecular weight compound and the organic low-molecular weight compound used here have an atomic group containing at least one structure selected from the group consisting of, for example, a carboxy group, a carbonyl group, a hydroxy group, an amino group and an aromatic ring.
