PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a siloxane oligomer useful as a coupling agent giving less alcohol production amount in a reaction in an organic polymer, and having a high boiling point, high ignition temperature and a low vapor pressure, and useful as the compound bringing the photo-stabilizing effect of the organic polymer, and a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: This siloxane oligomer containing the photo-stabilizing group is provided by having each a monovalent organic group containing at least one hindered amino group, and at least one alkoxy or hydroxy group per one oligomer molecule.
