PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems wherein the service life of a shroud is shortened, the operating performance of a turbine is affected, and/or an engine maintenance cycle time is shortened. SOLUTION: This shroud hanger assembly comprises a shroud hanger 226 and an impingement baffle 306 joined to the shroud hanger. The shroud hanger comprises a cavity 302 and cooling paths 304 formed in the cavity. Each cooling path extends from the upstream side surface 234 of the shroud hanger through the shroud hanger, and guides cooling air to the impingement baffle.
