PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery drive type electric automobile using electric energy as a driving source of the automobile, in which the electric energy is generated by utilizing hydraulic power from a hydraulic turbine disposed to a vehicle body of the automobile. SOLUTION: A tank 16 storing water is disposed to an upper part of the vehicle body 10 of the automobile 10, and a hydraulic turbine runner 12 of the hydraulic turbine is disposed to a position lower than the tank 16. Firstly, when a rotor 17 disposed to a conducting tube is rotated, water filled in the tank 16 is conducted into a conducting tube 11. The water flowing in the conducting tube 11 rotates a hydraulic turbine runner 12 (impeller) of a hydraulic turbine. Mechanical energy by the rotation of the hydraulic turbine runner 12 is generated. If a dynamo 13 (generator) is used, the mechanical energy is converted into the electric energy, and the converted electric energy can be stored in a battery 14. The water that has rotated the hydraulic turbine is returned to the tank 16 through a column pipe 15 by the rotor 17 disposed to the column pipe 15. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
