PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition including a polyolefin resin and an insect-proofing agent, providing a filament good in hot drawability and good in melt-spinning property, to provide such filament made from the resin composition, and to provide a method for producing the filament using the resin composition. SOLUTION: The resin composition includes an insect-proofing agent and an ethylene homopolymer with a density of 935-965 kg/m<SP>3</SP>, wherein the content of the insect-proofing agent is 0.1-10 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. of the ethylene homopolymer. This resin composition has a melt flow rate(MFR) of 0.3-7 g/10min, a melt flow rate ratio(MFRR) of 10-50 and a density of 935-980 kg/m<SP>3</SP>. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
