PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester hollow monofilament for print screen gauze, and not causing print defects, when used for the print screen gauze. SOLUTION: This polyester hollow monofilament for the print screen gauze is characterized by having a hollow portion in a filament axis direction, a compression variation rate of 10 to 25%, a bending hardness index Bhi of 5.0 to 10.0, a fineness of 27 to 44 dtex, a filament diameter of 48 to 78μm, and a porosity of 10 to 30%.
