A support of a fusion splicer is provided to improve the productivity by installing an extraction unit at the supporter for separating a welding member from the fusion splicer. A support of a fusion splicer comprises a supporter(100) where a welding member is placed, a supporter transferring part for transferring the supporter, and a heating part for heating the welding member. The supporter consists of a supporting plate(110), and an extraction unit(120). The supporting plate has an extraction hole is penetrated through the upper part of the welding member. The extraction unit, which is installed at the lower part of the supporting plate, extracts the welding member through the extraction hole. The extraction unit also includes an extraction bar positioned at the extraction hole to draw out one end, a raising plate installed at the lower part of the placing part to fix the other end of the extraction bar, and an operating unit raising the raising plate. The operating unit has an operating cam contacted to the lower part of the raising plate, and an operating lever connected to the rotation shaft of the operating cam.
