A reinforcement structure of a cylinder block is provided to prevent formation of a crack around a bearing cap coupling unit through dispersing stress to whole portions by reinforcing strength according to forming a horizontal rib and an oblique rib additionally around the bearing cap coupling unit. A reinforcement structure of a cylinder block(1) comprises the followings: a vertical rib(7) formed vertically at both sides of a boss part(5) in a bearing cap coupling unit(3) of the cylinder block; a horizontal rib(9) formed horizontally at both sides of the boss part in the bearing cap coupling unit; an oblique rib(11) formed integrally in an oblique direction at a regular angle between the vertical rib and the horizontal rib, at both sides of the boss part in the bearing cap coupling unit. Each connection portion of the vertical, the horizontal, and the oblique rib has a round surface of a regular curvature, and a support rib(15) is formed integrally under the horizontal rib, to reinforce a side surface of a coupling surface(13) of the bearing cap.
