<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method for a fire-compartment penetration section which is excellent in its shape retentivity even if it is exposed to a high temperature for a long period of time. <P>SOLUTION: This construction method for the fire-compartment penetration section, which allows the insertion of a long body penetrating a fire compartment provided in the partition section of a building, is characterized as follows: a thermally-expansible inorganic material contains 55-85 wt.% inorganic fibers, a 5-30 wt.% thermally-expansible inorganic substance, a 5-25 wt.% inorganic binder, and a 5-15 wt.% organic binder; the inorganic binder is composed of a sinterable inorganic material with a melting point of 650-1,000°C; a tape-like molded article containing the thermally-expansible inorganic material is wound around a part or the whole of a portion, penetrating the fire compartment, of the long body; and after that, a gap between the fire-compartment penetration section and the long body is backfilled with at least one kind which is selected from the group consisting of the thermally-expansible inorganic material, mortar, an incombustible material, and putty. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
