<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust a peripheral portion microcircuit so as to be capable of coping with a local heat load area. <P>SOLUTION: A turbine engine component such as a turbine blade has an airfoil portion 104 having a positive pressure surface and a negative pressure surface. The turbine engine component further comprises a first cooling circuit 150 in the positive pressure surface for cooling the positive pressure surface of the airfoil portion 104, and a second cooling circuit 114 in the negative pressure surface for cooling the negative pressure surface of the airfoil portion and cooperating with a leading edge surrounding cooling circuit for creating a cooling film on the positive pressure surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
