<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive for optical functional films which achieves adhesion with proper durability in adhesion of optical films, such as adhesion of a polarizing plate, particularly, a polarizing plate integrated with a viewing angle expansion film, or the like, to a liquid crystal cell, adhesion of a polarizing plate to a retardation plate, adhesion of retardation plates to each other and adhesion of a retardation plate to a liquid crystal cell, which gives a liquid crystal display less likely to cause light leak, even in a high temperature and high humidity environment, and which is less likely to build up static electricity, when a release film is peeled from an adhesive layer. <P>SOLUTION: The adhesive for bonding optical functional films contains adhesive resin and an antistatic agent and has a storage modulus (G') at 23°C of 0.3 MPa or higher. The charge voltage of the surface of a layer, comprising the adhesive measured after the lapse of 5 s, after peeling a release film from the adhesive layer kept, in a state of being in contact with the release film in an environment at 23°C and 50% RH, is 1.0 kV or lower. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
