PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a connection terminal for a battery capable of securely fixing a bus bar with a strong structure and welding and connecting it with the battery in an ideal state with which a connection surface with the bus bar is processed in an ideal smooth surface to improve electric connection state between the bus bar and the connection terminal and mass production of the connection terminal having ideal physical properties is inexpensively conducted. SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method of the connection terminal, the connection terminal 30 for the battery with a flange part 32 welded and fixed with an end surface of the battery 21 is provided at an end of a nut part 31 with a female screw hole 33 into which a set screw 45 for fixing the bus bar 40 is screwed. This manufacturing method includes a forging process for providing the nut part 31 by forging a metal block 61, a pressing process for pressing a metal block 60 which is forged and provided with the nut part 31 to produce the flange part 32 in a predetermined thickness and a screw hole forming process for providing the female screw hole 33 in the nut part 31.
