PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle navigation device and an own vehicle position correction method capable of contributing to stable display of the own vehicle position by reducing greatly variation of own vehicle position on a screen, when performing correction of own vehicle position by map-matching and screen display based thereon. SOLUTION: In this on-vehicle navigation device, a plurality of virtual links are generated, corresponding to the width or the number of lanes of a traveling road of own vehicle (S6), on reference to map data (S1); and when the own vehicle position is deviated from a prescribed distance range centered at a GPS position, map-matching of own vehicle position is performed onto a virtual link nearest to the GPS position (S7), and own vehicle position mark is displayed at a position corresponding to the virtual link, of the traveling road displayed on the screen (S8).
