ELECTROLYTIC SOLUTION FOR ELECTROCHEMICAL CAPACITOR, AND ELECTROCHEMICAL CAPACITOR USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolytic solution which can further improve the deterioration in performance over time of an electrochemical capacitor, and to provide an electrochemical capacitor using the same. SOLUTION: The electrolytic solution for electrochemical capacitors contains an electrolyte (A) expressed by a general formula (1), where R1and R2are monovalent hydrocarbon radicals with 1 to 10 carbons which may include at least one kind of group selected among a group consisting of a hydrogen group, amino group, nitro group, cyano group, carboxyl group, group having an ether bond, and formyl group; and R4and R5are monovalent hydrocarbon radicals with 1 to 10 carbons which may include at least one kind of group selected among a group consisting of a hydrogen group, amino group, nitro group, cyano group, carboxyl group, group having an ether bond, and formyl group, or are hydrogen atoms. A part or whole of R1, R2, R4, and R5may be bound to form a ring. R1, R2, R4, and R5may be the same or different from each other. X-represents a counter ion. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
