PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify tuning with the three digit numbers of a digital broadcasting program as much as possible. SOLUTION: When a three digital number input tuning mode is set (S310: "YES"), and digits are input (S320: "YES"), a tuning object service is retrieved based on the input digits (S330), and when it is detected (D340: "YES"), whether or not there are several tuning object services whose event sharing information is the same is judged by referring to event sharing information (S350), and when it is judged that there are several tuning object services (S350: "YES"), the tuning object services whose event sharing information is the same are turned into one (S360). Then, whether or not the tuning object services can be specified as one is judged (S370), and when it is judged that the tuning object services can not be specified as one (S370: "NO"), the processing is returned to S320, and a stand-by status for the input of the next digit is set, and when the tuning object services can be specified as one (S370: "YES"), the tuning object services specified as one is tuned (S380).
