OPTICAL FIBER COAXIAL CABLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber coaxial cable which effectively suppresses generation of protruding phenomenon of the inner portion of a spacer part and thereby preventing optical transmission loss. SOLUTION: The optical fiber coaxial cable 1 is composed of; a central conductor 11 arranged in the center; an intermediate part 12 including an insulating layer installed on the outer circumference of the central conductor 11; a spacer part 13 installed on the outer circumference of the intermediate part 12, with grooves S formed for housing at least coated optical fibers P; and a jacket 14 for covering the spacer part 13. In the optical fiber coaxial cable 1, between the intermediate part 12 and the spacer part 13, there is interposed a spacer supporting layer 15 that prevents displacement of the spacer part 13 from the intermediate part 12.
