PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To evaluate torque variation according to the progress of fretting wear. SOLUTION: In this method, bearing characteristics such as torque and torque variation of a ball bearing and a ball bearing unit are evaluated by measuring the driving current of a motor through oscillatory driving of the ball bearing and the ball bearing unit by the motor.
