PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceramic cylinder structure for automobile engines. SOLUTION: This invention relates to a ceramic cylinder component of automobile engines. First layers of ceramic members mainly on each of the wall surface of a cylinder and the surface of a piston or both surfaces thereof are simultaneously plated by electroplating treatment. The wear resistance, heat dissipating property, and lubricating property of the frictional surface between the cylinder and the piston are enhanced, and the adhesiveness of the piston and the cylinder when they perform reciprocating motion is enhanced. Consequently, black smoke is prevented from being discharged, environment is protected, fuel cost is saved, transmission force is increased, and the service life is extended.
