摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lower body structure and its manufacturing method attaining increase of twisting rigidity of a vehicle body portion including an A pillar, a rocker, a B pillar and a rear side member. SOLUTION: In the lower body structure 10, the A pillar 11, the rocker 12, the B pillar 13 and the rear side member 14 are integrally formed. The structure has: an outer wall member 20 made of fiber-reinforced resin; and an inner rib structure 30 made of fiber-reinforced resin having an inner rib 30A. The twisting rigidity of the lower body structure 10 is thereby enhanced. The inner rib structure has a hollow cross section structure. It becomes light weight. The inner rib 30A includes a front collision responding part 30A<SB>1</SB>, a rear collision responding part A<SB>3</SB>and a side collision responding part A<SB>2</SB>, and they are integrally connected. It thereby respond to the collisions in any direction. In the manufacturing method for the lower body structure 10, a foam core 40 is combined with the inner rib structure 30, a sheet 20A is superposed and thermally cured to make it to an outer wall member 20.
