PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutter device capable of visually confirming whether a movable blade 9 returns to a standby position or not easily and precisely, and returning the movable blade 9 at an original position promptly. SOLUTION: A window part 111 is provided in a cover 11a of a cutter unit frame 11, e.g. a triangle mark 230 is provided on the surface of a worm wheel 23, and this mark 230 is displayed in the window part 111 when the movable blade 9 is at the standby position.
