PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a leg type mobile body improving riding comfort felt by an occupant during the moving of the mobile body. SOLUTION: This boarding type leg type mobile body is provided with a mounting part mounted with the occupant, a leg for moving the mounting part in a direction instructed by the occupant, and a control part for controlling the movement of a leg to stably move the mounting part based on the position of the center of gravity of the mounting part mounted with the occupant. In the mounting part, an oscillation part which can be oscillated in a horizontal direction orthogonal to the moving direction instructed by the occupant is provided. The oscillation part can be controlled to be oscillated so that a moving amount of the movement of the mounting part may be suppressed in the horizontal direction. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
