<p>The mouse includes a remote controller selectively installed in or removed from an accommodation part by a user, the accommodation part being formed in one side of the mouse; a signal reception unit for receiving an infrared signal from the remote controller; an image reception unit for acquiring a background image during a first signal reception period, in which an infrared signal is not input from the remote controller, and acquiring an optical image, corresponding to the infrared signal received from the remote controller, during a second signal reception period, in which an infrared signal is input from the remote controller; an image processing unit for generating a corrected optical image based on a difference between the optical image and the background image; and a pointing amount calculation unit for calculating an amount of movement of the remote controller based on the optical image input from the image processing unit.</p> |
