BINDER RESIN FOR NEAR-INFRARED-RAY-ABSORBABLE FILM

Disclosed is a binder resin for a near-infrared-ray-absorbable film, which has good adhesiveness to a resin film made of PET or the like (PET has been widely used as a base material for a transparent film) and which can contain a near-infrared-ray-absorber stably. The binder resin comprises: 100 parts by weight of a low-molecular-weight (meth)acrylic polymer (A) which is produced by the (co)polymerization of methyl methacrylate in an amount of 70% by mass or more and has a weight average molecular weight of 50,000 to 300,000; and 1 to 30 parts by weight of a high-molecular-weight (meth)acrylic polymer (B) which is produced by the (co)polymerization of methyl methacrylate in an amount of 90% by mass or more and has a weight average molecular weight of 400,000 to 1,500,000.
