<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a prism sheet to obtain a prism sheet having high luminance and a wide viewing angle characteristic even when integrated on the upper side of a reflective polarizing functional film and improve uniformity of the shapes of the peaks of a plurality of lens units of the prism sheet. <P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the prism sheet comprises the steps of: preparing a transfer plate 12 on which a plurality of V-shaped grooves 31, 31 each having nearly triangle cross-sections are arranged in a direction orthogonal to the cross-section and the deepest parts 31a, 31a are rounded; and obtaining the prism sheet in which the plurality of lens units each having triangle cross-sections, rounded peaks and ridge lines extended in the direction orthogonal to the cross section are arranged on one surface, by transferring the shape of the v-shaped grooves 31, 31 of the transfer plate 12 on a resin sheet. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
